Brunch is always a good idea!…so that’s exactly what we did when my good friend Anwar contacted me about hosting brunch. We split to invite list 50/50. He invited 12 of his friends and I invited 12 of mine. With a few familiar faces and the rest resembling the ‘new’ that filled the room, our parties shared introductions and networked while enjoying mimosas as they dined.

For the few hours we were together, no one was homeless or hungry here. We were sheltered by community and the aspiration to continue to cultivate the energy that lived in us that moment.
